COACHING AT BERGVLIET

The Bergvliet Tennis Club Coaching Group was formed in 2021, bringing together coaches who had been working with BTC for some years. This Group provides professional coaching to both novice and experienced players. We believe and have observed that good coaching instills correct technique and confidence in young players; it enhances the game of regular players and enables those who return to the courts after years of absence, such as new retirees, to reacquire their competitive enthusiasm.

Our coaches advise the BTC Committee on coaching policy; they participate in the forward planning of facilities development. They take responsibility for the holding of club tournaments; they assist in the general running of social tennis at Bergvliet.
